Bridget is a commercial lawyer who provides transaction advisory services in corporate and commercial matters, energy and mining to a host of private sector clients as well as the Ghana Government. Bridget’s key areas of specialization include project finance in mining, company secretaryship, commercial contracts and compliance with data protection laws and policies.

She has considerable experience in energy practice by being part of the team advising the firm’s client (the Government of Ghana) in debt restructuring, renegotiating and refinancing of several power purchase agreements. Additionally, she is has advised on multi-party related transactions on government guarantee agreements, gas agreements and key legislation in the energy sector.

She has led the team in its research towards the firm’s contribution to the Women, Business & Law Report, 2023 of the World Bank as well as the firm’s contribution to the Business Ready 2024 project of the World Bank involving legislation on Electricity, Water and Internet supply in Ghana.

Bridget has mining experience with an understanding in mining regulations, resettlement, corporate social responsibilities and ESG. She has been part of the firm’s team that provided advisory services to a junior mining firm to restructure its shareholders agreement to raise capital for exploration. She has also advised on local content participation in the mining industry and has been part of negotiations on several agreements for the firm’s corporate clients. Bridget is also adept at Ghana’s public procurement laws and procedures.

Prior to joining Koranteng and Koranteng legal advisors, Bridget worked at Ayeni & Felli Chambers where she supported lead counsels on corporate and commercial litigation cases.

She is a member of the Ghana Bar Association and holds a BA in communication studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism. She also holds an LLB from the Mountcrest University College and an LLM with specialization in Natural Resources Law from the University of Ghana (School of Law).
