The Companies Act 2019 has increased the responsibilities of Company Secretaries and directors of companies in Ghana. We have a deep understanding of the requirements under the Companies Act and provide the relevant advice and support to clients to ensure prompt filing of statutory changes and annual returns as required.

We are able to guide both foreign investors and local promotors from the company incorporation phase through the drafting of shareholders agreements, joint venture agreements and regulations/articles of association. The process would typically not end at that stage as we guide our clients through crucial steps including but not limited to the following

• Registration with the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre. This includes the drafting and review of technology transfer agreements, management service agreements, securing residency permits and work permits.
• Registration with the Ghana Free Zones Authority.
