“The Green Palette team would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our sponsors, speakers, panelists and attendees who joined us at the Stakeholders Conference themed BEYOND PLASTIC: COLLABORATIVE SOLUTIONS FOR A GREENER TOMORROW.”
Where Ghana’s collective spirit mobilizes its might behind a singular cause, we achieve remarkable progress.
Where Ghana’s collective spirit mobilizes its might behind a singular cause, we achieve remarkable progress.
Inspired by that hope, we put together the maiden Green Palette Stakeholders Conference, hosted at the Accra Marriott Hotel, to turn the national spotlight on the plastic plague.
The event brought an incredible cross-section of policymakers, business leaders, creatives, and tireless advocates from NGOs, exploring everything from innovative green technologies to the policies needed to support them. The resounding message was clear: the responsibility to heal our environment is a shared mantle we must all carry together.
The energy and dedication in the room was a startling reminder that all hope is not lost for bringing our environment back from the brink. Yesterday marked the first, albeit significant step from dialogue to action.
A special thank you to United Nations Ghana, First Bank Ghana, OmniBSIC Bank Ghana, Asili Coffee, Green Gold Gardens. Your support was instrumental.
Our distinguished speakers Tolu Lacroix of UN Global Compact Network Ghana, Joseph Yeboah of UNIDO Ghana, Makafui Awuku of Mckingtorch, Efia Adofowaa of Fidelity Bank Ghana and Salim Ahmed , and our exceptional event moderator, Ebenezer Amankwah , thank you immensely. Huge thanks also goes out to all the recycled plastic innovators leading the charge for systemic change.
And many thanks to our media partners for helping us amplify this critical conversation and every attendee who brought their expertise and passion to bear on this discussion.
This is just the beginning. Let’s carry this momentum forward and work together for a cleaner, greener Ghana. Special thanks to Red Letter.
We’re still inspired by the creativity that lit up the Green Palette Stakeholders Conference!
From recycled plastic desks, trays and slippers by Makafui Awuku of MCKINGTORCH Africa, to Made-in-Ghana biodegradable shoes by the World Shoes, to stunning bottle-cap art by sustainable material artist Salim Ahmed and environmentally sustainable Kokedama centerpieces by Green Gold Garden Centre, the innovation on display was nothing short of amazing.
A huge shoutout to all the innovators, creatives and florist who showed us the power of sustainable design — practical, bold and truly inspiring.
On the 19th of June, we brought together.
Passionate changemakers, innovators, and thought leaders united by a shared vision.
